Genius Aulad and Tabung Haji Travel & Services (THTS) have strengthened their commitment to collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony held on 15 September 2026 at the Gains Education Group Headquarters, Bukit Jelutong.

The MOU marks an important milestone in the collaboration between both organisations, building on their shared efforts to create meaningful educational and community-focused initiatives for children, families and the wider community.

Building on the Success of Genius Hajj

The collaboration between Genius Aulad and THTS previously came together through the Genius Hajj programme, held at Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, Putrajaya.

The programme provided students with an engaging opportunity to learn about the Hajj journey through a hands-on educational experience. Beyond classroom learning, Genius Hajj encouraged children to understand the values, practices and significance of Hajj in an environment that was both educational and memorable.

The successful collaboration demonstrated the potential of combining early childhood education, Islamic learning and experiential activities to create impactful learning experiences for young learners.

Looking Ahead: Genius Umrah in November

Following the positive experience from Genius Hajj, Genius Aulad and THTS are looking forward to their next collaborative initiative which is Genius Umrah, scheduled to take place in November 2026.

The upcoming programme is expected to further expose young learners to the fundamental concepts and experiences associated with Umrah through an age-appropriate and engaging learning approach.

Through initiatives such as these, children can develop a deeper appreciation of Islamic practices while learning through participation, observation and experience.

Exploring New Opportunities Through Edutourism

The MOU also opens opportunities for both organisations to explore potential collaboration in edutourism.

By combining education and travel, edutourism can provide children and families with opportunities to discover new places, cultures, histories and experiences while continuing their learning beyond the classroom.

Genius Aulad and THTS will explore potential initiatives that align educational objectives with meaningful travel experiences, creating opportunities for children to learn, explore and experience in a more engaging environment.

Bringing Hajj Learning into the Genius Library

As part of the potential collaboration, both organisations are also exploring the development of Hajj-related educational content for the Genius Library, Genius Aulad’s digital learning platform.

The initiative aims to make Islamic learning resources more accessible to children and families through engaging digital content. Hajj-related materials can complement physical learning experiences such as Genius Hajj while allowing children to revisit and strengthen their understanding at home.

This approach reflects Genius Aulad’s continued efforts to integrate digital learning with meaningful educational experiences.
