Heritage-Inspired Games and Activities

One of the most exciting parts of Teng-Teng Time Sports Day was the wide array of traditional Malaysian games that allowed our children to embrace and appreciate their cultural heritage. From Baling Selipar to Bowling Kelapa and Tarik Upih, the event offered endless opportunities for children to engage in exciting, nostalgic activities, learning about their roots while having fun.

Coming to you this September, Genius Aulad in collaboration with 5T3M, will be organizing the GENIUS STEM program, specially designed for our children.

5T3M is a unique approach to science and technology where learning is experiential, and driven by our children’s natural curiosity, where passion and creativity are more important than following a rigid curriculum.

INTERACTIVE CODING & PUZZLE WITH GENIUS AULAD!
Qobo is a programmable educational snail robot. It offers an innovative, simple, fun and intuitive programming system with puzzle cards that allow the snail to move, sing, flash and interact according to the card on which it is advancing. The interaction between the robot and children becomes intelligent: they learn by playing, observing and coding the robot. The robot shell is fluorescent in colour and the educational snail has a puzzle card recognition function.

INTERACTIVE PROGRAMMING USING ROBOT
Photon is an interactive, educational robot that learns and grows with your child; the more you play with it, the smarter it becomes! It is the perfect learning companion that also teaches coding to children. Photon is suitable for all ages as it comes in different modes and difficulty levels – children do not need any coding experience to start learning with Photon. Photon Robot teaches the basics of coding, mathematics, creative problem-solving and enhances logical thinking. All of that is done through a very fun and engaging way – through challenges!

JUNIOR ROBOTIC
Junior Robotics Kit comes with lego-like building blocks, whereby kids are able to assemble and build different robots. The Prophet Rasulullah S.A.W. said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three things:  continuous charity, knowledge by which people derive benefit and a pious son who prays for him.” – Hadith Muslim.

Do you remember our ‘First We Need Love’ campaign last Ramadhan? Alhamdulillah, with your contribution and support, we are able to assist the Asnaf communities in Kg Baru Ampang and Nilai! Fifteen food packs have been distributed consist of rice, flour, cooking oil, and sugar.

‘First We Need Love’ is an effort in expressing gratitude among Genius Aulad children about the importance of Sadaqah while nurturing good virtues as a Muslim. We hope to help them out from hunger and to be safe during the month of Ramadhan.

While donating to the affected communities, our children have learned the concept of giving and being thankful. Charity actions increase the empathy for less fortunate communities, eventually develop a sense of gratitude. Nevertheless, all these activities can increase our children’s basic math and monetary management skills too. So much to learn while we helping the unfortunate!

Special thanks to Islamic Relief Malaysia and for an awesome collaboration! Islamic Relief Malaysia has been a Humanitarian Partner for Genius Aulad since 2008, shed hunger and food crisis among marginalized communities around the world.

We hope this good cause impacted brothers and sisters out there while nurturing good virtues in ourselves. May Allah rewards each one of us with goodness, Insya Allah.
