THE PRESCHOOL COUNTDOWN: A WEEK BEFORE PRESCHOOL STARTS

The final week before starting preschool seem to fly by!

Are you ready dear parents? Worry not, we have prepared The Preschool Countdown series for you 😄

As you begin the countdown to the first day, here are some things to keep in mind:

A week before preschool starts.

1. Purchase a backpack together with your child and let them choose. This gives them a sense of control and emphasizes the fact the fact that they are “big kid” ready for preschool.

2. Inform the preschool’s teacher if your child has allergy or medication that he or she takes on a daily basis. There will be special rules and forms to fill out.

3. Figure out how your child will get to school and how they will come home. Talk to your child about the morning and afternoon routine.

4. Help your child get into a preschool routine by keeping to their school bedtime, beginning about a week before school starts.

Bernama Radio: Independence?

Recently, we caught up with the founder of Genius Aulad, Puan Zaliza Alias on the topic of Nurturing Independence in Young Children. Here are some of the things that were discussed on that episode! Should children be taught on independence at the age of 6 and below? In their early years, we can already see some elements of independence in their day to day activities, such as during pretend play. It’s a form of self-empowerment that children can pick up through their make-believe play, so independence is definitely something that should be a part of every child’s early childhood experience. Will spoiling our children affect our children negatively? It depends on how we view “spoiling” as. I feel like it’s not completely wrong to do so, because ultimately it comes from a place of love. (Even us adults, we love being spoiled by our parents and loved ones despite our age!) However, I do believe that there definitely needs to be a balance. If we give them tasks, we should also help them understand why they have to do them. For example, imagine giving them the task of wiping the table after a meal. Help them understand why they have to do it, rather than simply questioning whether they have completed the task or not. Children are very curious in nature, so be sure to bank in on that when you give them opportunities to nurture their independence! Communication is a very important element, even if our children aren’t able to understand what we say. Any thoughts on the communication between parents and children? Communication is a very broad subject. Back then, even an eye glare from our mother is enough to stop in our tracks (and not continue with whatever it is she caught us trying to do!). On that note, let’s look into some of the communication traits that parents can educate their children on how to be a good friend.

Empathizing with others and seeing perspectives other than their own.
How to manage their emotions well.
Understanding their actions.

As parents, there is a multitude of ways parents can go about improving their communication with their children. Good communication ensures a stronger connection between parent and child, which will in turn play a huge part in the way they pick up important life skills such as independence! Bernama Radio: What Makes A Quality Educator?

Puan Ashikin Hashim, a well-loved principal of Genius Aulad Saujana Utama since 2015, was our special guest on one of our recent episodes on Bernama Radio! On her segment of #GOGENIUS, they discussed what it takes to be a “QUALITY TEACHER”. Here are some meaningful excerpts from her episode: What does it mean by “quality teacher”? The scope is huge, but let’s focus on three.

1. A teacher that understands her duty as a preschool educator.
2. A teacher that has great communication skills, be it with the children, the parents, management or even the surrounding community.
3. A teacher that understands the challenges that comes with the role of being a preschool teacher, and has the ability to withstand them.

Why does a quality preschool rely on its educators?
It’s one of the most important elements that parents will observe when they visit a school, from the way that they carry themselves, the way they communicate with children, their qualifications and skills.

What do you think of people who assume that a teacher’s task is something “easy”?
It certainly looks easy from the surface, but beyond the “ABCs” and “123s”, not all children develop at the same pace. Some children might meet their milestones quicker or slower than others and their home environments aren’t always the same. Even in a roomful of 20 same-aged children, their progress, behavior, character and development are unique to every child, so it really isn’t as simple as it may look. Perhaps at home it would be easier to educate and control the development of our children when there’s just one or two of them around, but these are some of the factors that teachers have to work with daily to ensure that all children get the help that they need. It takes skill and knowledge to understand and handle each student well.
As an educator, when do you feel accomplished?
Throughout my years of experience as an educator, I feel content when the children are happy to go to school, and when their parents are satisfied with our service as educators. Beyond the academic successes, those are some of the things that makes us feel accomplished as teachers.

How does a teacher upgrade their skills from time to time?
Upgrades and self-improvement are definitely important for all teachers to seek continuously. For example, at Genius Aulad there are trainings, workshops and courses that cover a wide range of skills and knowledge that are available to all of our educators. Over time, the behaviors and development of children that come under our care tend do change. Therefore, it definitely is important for teachers to upgrade their skill set so that they can handle each child to the very best of their abilities, if not beyond.
What are some of the hurdles that you’ve encountered in your school?

Genius Aulad Saujana Utama has been around since 2015, and it is now our fifth year. Among the challenges that we’ve faced, coming from the children itself is the norm but it is also a challenge when the parents do not understand our methods in educating their children. When that happens, it is our responsibility to assist them patiently in understanding our methods (rather than condemning their queries).

Bernama Radio: Choosing the BEST Preschool?

“Sekolah mana yang okay untuk hantar anak-anak?” That is not an uncommon question that parents encounter, especially at this time of the year where everyone is gearing up to face the new year. For parents with children who are just about to enter the world of education for the very first time, this could be a very daunting task as there are loads of preschools out there to choose from! So…HOW do we choose the best preschool? In the latest episode of #GOGENIUS on Bernama Radio, Puan Zaliza Alias shared some interesting pointers that parents should definitely keep in mind when it comes to choosing the best preschool for their child! What are some of the qualities that should be included in the package of a good preschool?

Well-Rounded Programme
Doesn’t view lessons as just classroom subjects we go through on the daily timetable, but relates them to themes that will develop the students’ skills in a holistic and complete manner.

What are the areas of development that a child will be coached on in preschool?

Physical Development (Fine Motor & Gross Motor)
Social-Emotional Development
Cognitive Development
Language Development

A good preschool will ensure that all children will have equal opportunities to nurture these areas of development in a balanced manner. Therefore, it is really important that you ask the teachers about the programme and see the areas that your children will be assessed on when you make enquiries! For example, at Genius Aulad, the children are not only assessed by their workbook and reading progress, but things such as their ability to use scissors and interaction with their peers are assessed as well! Should parents do their own research on the schools that they approach? There are a few things that you can do, other than going through a school’s website and social media to formulate an opinion on whether it is the best fit for your child.

Cross-check with the social media pages of the other branches, even if they are under the same brand! This is so you can get an idea on what kind of programmes the school should be running. Don’t forget to compare it to the main HQ social media pages too.
Attend Open Days that are held by the schools. This is an excellent way to get a live experience on what to expect, be it in the way the teachers interact with your children or even with you. Genius Aulad centres typically offer Free Trial Class, which are excellent opportunities for you to test out whether our teachers and approaches are compatible with your children or not!

What is the length of time that it takes to decide whether a school or programme is compatible with your child? Actually, it could take place within a day, a week, a month or even a year. What I would like to share though, is that sometimes parents need to put more faith in their children. Over the years, we have witnessed parents going through separation anxiety during the school’s trial period, some even more so than their children! When our children sense our uncertainty, it could affect their transition as well. Transition periods are also times when there are ups and downs, and that is a very normal thing. Some parents even go as far as messaging teachers every single day to ask whether their children did alright, what they did, etc. to the point where it affects their work and personal time. Sometimes, we just have to have faith in the teachers and especially our children. We need to give them space to adjust, as trust plays a huge role in the development of young children. Bernama Radio: Should Preschool Fees Dictate your Child’s Education Future?

Some parents are under the impression that the higher the fees are, the better their academic progress. Do expensive fees guarantee your child education excellence?

When it comes to the topic of school fees, it’s always associated with how “cheap” or “expensive” it is. Rather than look at it that way, what about looking at what actually goes into the fees? How are the facilities? Support system? Maintenance? Programme? Is the learning environment conducive? Are the teachers well-trained? These are some of the things that we take into consideration when we speak of our reasonable fees at Genius Aulad.

Can parents hope with high school fees, their child will become more well educated with best education programme as promised?

Education is a form of love that can’t always be measured numerically. When we say “well educated”, what does that mean? Is it only something that we assess based on their ability to read and write only? What if they’re able to say “Alhamdulillah”, or have a positive outlook on learning? Surely that must count as “well educated” too. To answer this question, we must look at our children from all aspects, and not just in aspects that is easier for us to spot and count.

What are some of the misconceptions that parents have regarding school fees?

A common misconception would be that they do not get their money’s worth. They see the numerical value and think of it as expensive, but they often overlook what they truly get for what they are paying for.

Why preschools have different fees charges?

Certain factors would affect this, such as the upkeep of their facilities, teachers training, research and development expenses, and so on. At Genius Aulad, however, all fees are generally the same across Malaysia. The only thing that set them apart sometimes are the occasional promotions that some centres would run.

Bernama Radio: Boys vs Girls?

Is it true that boys and girls are different in character, behavior and intellect? We often hear people say that ‘girls are softer in nature, and tend to excel really well in their studies’ and that ‘boys are more physically active, and don’t really take to books as well as girls’. Another common school of thought was that ‘girls learn faster than boys do’. These days, with the advancement in accessibility of knowledge, there is a rise in awareness to the idea that there is a variety of learners out there. Generally, society is more informed than it was back then when those gender assumptions are wildly common. One popular theory that we know of, the VARK model, identifies four primary types of learners: visual, auditory, reading/writing and kinesthetic. Of course, there are other theories that list down up to seven types of learning styles too, which includes logical (mathematical), social (interpersonal) and solitary (intrapersonal). Therefore, rather than simply generalizing our children in terms of their gender, we should also look deeper into identifying the type of learners that each individual child is. Sure, there might be certain similarities within each gender group, but it is really important for us to think of them as unique individuals and to provide a learning environment that really suits them well. This way, we’ll be able to nurture their growth in a way that complements their unique individuality rather than molding all of them to fit the same box. At the kindergarten stage, there isn’t a gender-based division in terms of their education and classroom activities. All children all treated equally in the sense that they are given access to different methods of teaching and experiences. At this point, identifying the type of learner your child is plays a huge role in how you build their foundation for their years to come in primary, secondary and tertiary education. With that being said, what can parents do to determine their child’s learning style? A great place to start with is by communicating with your child’s teachers to learn more about the methods they respond best to. Share your findings and resources with each other! It is also really important that children are exposed to as many methods and experiences as possible. If your child is a reluctant reader, find out how you can develop their reading skills in a way that will pique their interest. Did you know that to combat the rise of reluctant readers, the National Library of Singapore introduced an innovative reading programme called QUEST that incorporates the wildly popular trading card format and manga illustrations into their reading material? That is just one brilliant example of many that shows that there are ways to work around even the most reluctant of learners. The most important thing is to never take the easy way of generalization, no matter how tempting the situation may make it out to be. It takes a lot of time and effort, but getting to know what kind of learner your child is would absolutely prove to be fruitful in the long-run. There is so much more to our children beyond their gender. Look beyond that, and you’ll find a precious and unique individual within them. In shaa Allah. You were born with wings. You are not meant for crawling, so don’t. You have wings. Learn to use them and fly. Each child is born with potential. Bernama Radio: What’s next after Pre-school?

Principal Muhamad Hafizi Mihzan, or more fondly known as Ustaz Muhamad, was the special guest on the eighth episode of our #GOGENIUS Program on Bernama Radio. Currently the principal of Sekolah Tinta, he used to be the Principal of Islamic Education in Genius Aulad. He shared that Sekolah Tinta is in its 2nd year of operation, and as Malaysia’s first STEM-based primary school that utilizes KSSR as its main curriculum, it is the continuity that Genius Aulad students can look forward to after graduating from their preschool stage. The following is an extract of his episode: Is it the responsibility of preschool teachers to ensure that children are ready to enter primary school? When we speak of readiness, I believe that it is a collective effort of both educators and parents. Throughout preschool, there are four basic areas of development that we help the children to develop that will help them adapt to primary school: socio-emotional, cognitive, physical and communication. All these basic things are not something that children can learn perfectly in simply one place and time. These developments take place depending on the condition of the environment that they are in and how they view them. I believe that the environment in preschool and primary are vastly different, and therefore parents should also contribute and help out in the development of these four different areas. Looking at Genius Aulad’s “Lessons Beyond Classroom!” tagline, it means that learning does not only take place within the classroom walls; we must make use of any learning space available to provide new experiences to our children. If you ask me, learning space is everywhere and life is a school. Therefore, parents can play a role beyond preschool, and teachers can play their part in preschool. Will what children learn in preschool contribute to how they adapt to primary school? The name itself, PRESCHOOL, would imply that it is a starter programme that will prepare them for a formal learning environment. It is at this stage that they will learn things that will ease them through the process of adapting to primary school, such as self-management skills, character building, basic academic knowledge and so on. Preschool is a great platform to nurture a child’s mood and general outlook towards their years of formal education. What are some of the skills that parents should instill in children to prepare them for primary school?

At Sekolah Tinta, how do you manage the first graders? During Orientation Week, we would establish transition programmes that would help our first graders to get used to their new school environment. Typically, during the first month or so, we can still see their “preschool” behavior. The approach that we would practice in this period would be incorporated with playful elements. For example, one of the biggest differences between preschool and primary school is Play Time. That’s why, we have that in Sekolah Tinta as well (other than their actual recess time or physical education lessons), to provide them with a mood-booster that will make them feel more excited about going to school. Besides that, through our STEM-based approaches, we are honing their natural creativity and playful curiosity in a way that would keep them interested in their academics. We also practice regular recognition of their progress and achievements in school, by having Student of the Week, to show the students that we are grateful for their hard work and effort. Bernama Radio: A Teacher’s Journey and Starting up Pre-school Franchise

With Special Guest Puan Norazita, winner of Best Franchisee Award 2018/2019

Recently, we had the winner of Genius Aulad Franchisee Award 2018-2019 join us on our #gogenius segment on Bernama Radio. Puan Norazita has 4 Genius Aulad centres under her belt, and was awarded for how well-run her centres are. She used to be a teacher, who then ventured into the early childhood industry by setting up a regular kindergarten. In 2012, the opportunity to continue her journey through the industry by joining the Genius Aulad family popped up, and by 2012 she was able to open Genius Aulad Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. She went on to open a Genius Aulad centre every two years after that, their location being Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Bandar Mahkota Cheras and Sungai Besi. Here are some excerpts from her exclusive segment at Bernama Radio

What is your opinion on the kindergarten franchise in the local market?

In my opinion, parents have turned to early childhood education centres in ensuring that their children are well-prepared for primary school. With the availability of an education system or specialized programme by franchises, I’m sure that it will be a great help in upgrading the quality of education in accordance to the regulations. Due to the fact that they are experienced experts in the industry. At the same time, quality can be maintained and controlled. For example: in Malaysia, Genius Aulad is one of the first pioneers to offer English-based Islamic kindergarten services. Genius Aulad offers various programmes, specially-curated modules and detailed curriculum planning. Other than that, Genius Aulad really prioritizes the quality of education in all aspects, following our Standard Operating Procedures. It was what sparked my interest in Genius Aulad. Alhamdullilah, that’s why I’ve been here for 8 years (soon to be 9). Genius Aulad constantly guides business owners and principals through CME Coaching, training and even online coaching. Besides that, Genius Aulad’s EQC (Education Quality Control) Team will visit every centre every term to check up on whether we really follow the guidelines and SOP. From there we can see that the quality in Genius Aulad is truly well-maintained, whether it’s through the content, classroom arrangement, safety precautions and more.

What are the challenges that you face as a franchisee?

With children, there aren’t any challenges. But one of the challenges that we do encounter is finding quality educators who are really good at what they do, and are really passionate about it. That is a common challenge that we franchisees face in maintaining the quality of the service that we provide.

“How you deal with that particular challenge?

Alhamdullilah, from the beginning we really follow every training and coaching session provided by Genius Aulad. Hence, we are able to lead and coach our teachers at our respective centres, through monthly in-house training and motivational talks. We always ensure that they have all the resources they need.

What is the most important thing to have in the early childhood industry?

To me, the industry is always expanding, and does not really go through much changes when faced with economic challenges because it is a need in Malaysia. I would like to share a little bit about my experience with Genius Aulad. Genius Aulad is the first early childhood enrichment centre to be franchised in Malaysia and its growth has been really good. This can be proven through the existence of a franchisee system that is well planned, easy to follow and the fact that we move together as a team. Every decision that is made is done together.

“Thoughts on Genius Aulad’s Social Entrepreneurship?”

For the services that we offer, we actually build it on the CSR that we engage in with our community. An example would be our First We Need Love programmes, where we reach out to orphanages, retirement homes, hospitals and more. Recently, we’ve worked with Lembaga Penduduk Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN), where we distributed food and necessities to the homeless. We’re also industrial partners with a few universities and welcome interns who seek experience and knowledge on the industry, so from there you can see that Genius Aulad is not just a preschool.

Bernama Radio: Reading or Memorization?

According to studies, a child’s reading process begins with memorization before alphabet and sounds recognition. This process of development applies to any language. For example, our children are likely to remember Bismillah and Al-Fatihah before they even recognize the letters. That memorization will be a great help when the time comes for them to learn and sound out words. So, which should we prioritize: Memorization or Reading? Memorization isn’t necessarily “wrong”. In fact, it is part of the process of language acquisition. It’s a normal process that all children go through. What educators and parents can do however, is to provide the right support that will help them build their reading development from there. Think of the alphabet song. It is one of the first few songs that we teach our children, is it not? Even before they know each individual alphabet, they are likely to be familiar with the song first. In school, teachers pair their familiarity with that song with activities that will introduce and familiarize them with the alphabet. “If a child masters both memorization and reading, are they considered to be intelligent?” Perhaps another question worth thinking about is: Why are we so quick to label our children? When we speak of intelligence, it shouldn’t just be measured through reading and memorization skills. Intelligence is like a spectrum, and it isn’t like a one-size-fits-all type thing. All children are intelligent in different ways, and that’s what makes them special! Most preschool children benefit greatly from kinesthetic activities that involves touch, feel and self-experience. How do we make reading attractive to them? Well, reading is so much more than text on paper! There are definitely ways to get them to build their reading skills that don’t involve actual books. One of the ways that we can do that is to make use of their interests! For example, if your child is obsessed with dinosaurs, get reading materials that have dinosaurs! There are also tons of literacy games that you can do at home with your child. (PS: We discuss this a lot during our Crayon Loves Ibu sessions! Be on the lookout for our next one!) At Genius Aulad, we see memorization as one the many steps that children will use in building their literacy skills. Through our one-on-one reading sessions, our teachers will always ensure that their progress is documented every day. Other than the Starter Words Reading Series, our teachers also utilize materials and activities that suit their interests. For every method or trick that doesn’t work on the child, our teachers will always be equipped with 10 others. Hikmah Bulan Ramadan

Ramadan sudah sampai ke penghujungnya. Alhamdulillah, kita berpeluang untuk menambahkan Ibadah di tahun ini. Ramadan membawa 1001 kebaikan serta keampunan buat kita semua. Bagi ibu bapa yang mempunyai anak kecil, Ramadan adalah bulan di mana kita mendidik anak-anak kita untuk lebih mengenali Islam.

“ Mama..mama.. Mengapa kita kena puasa? “
“ Papa.. Mengapa papa banyak doa masa bulan Ramadan? “
“ Mama.. Mengapa Mama dengan Papa suka sedekah makanan di masjid? “
MashaAllah. Inilah di antara soalan-soalan bijak anak-anak kita di bulan Ramadan. Mereka sangat teruja meraikan dan menikmati Ramadan. Di Genius Aulad seawal usia 4, 5 dan 6 tahun sudah ada yang mula belajar berpuasa. Tahniah anak-anak!
Bulan Ramadan bakal meninggalkan kita. Bagi yang mengamati dan menghayati bulan Ramadan pasti akan berasa sedih dengan berakhirnya Ramadan. Sungguh pantas ianya berlalu. Adakah madrasah Ramadan telah berjaya mendidik kita menjadi insan yang lebih bertaqwa? Bagaimana pula dengan anak-anak kita? Bagaimana mereka menghayati Ramadan dan terdidik dari bulan yang mulia ini?

“(Beberapa hari yang ditentukan itu ialah) bulan Ramadhan, bulan yang di dalamnya diturunkan (permulaan) Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk bagi manusia dan penjelasan-penjelasan mengenai petunjuk itu dan pembeda (antara yang hak dan yang batil). Karena itu, barangsiapa di antara kamu yang hadir (di negeri tempat tinggalnya) di bulan itu, maka hendaklah ia berpuasa pada bulan itu. Dan barangsiapa yang sakit atau dalam perjalanan (lalu ia berbuka), maka (wajiblah baginya berpuasa), sebanyak hari yang ditinggalkannya itu, pada hari-hari yang lain” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 185)

Ayat di atas menunjukkan bahwa bulan Ramadan adalah bulan yang memiliki banyak keutamaan.

Hal ini sebagaimana disampaikan dari Rasulullah SAW, ”Sesungguhnya Allah membebaskan beberapa orang dari api neraka pada setiap hari di bulan Ramadhan,dan setiap muslim apabila dia memanjatkan do’a maka pasti dikabulkan.”

Untuk itu, sebagai bulan yang istimewa, tentunya bulan Ramadan memiliki banyak hikmah dan kebaikan yang bisa dipetik. Berikut adalah beberapa hikmah Ramadhan yang dapat kita petik.

Apakah hikmah yang dapat kita ajarkan kepada anak kita tentang Ramadan?

1. Duhai anak, Ramadan adalah bulan bonus dan pahala berlipat ganda!

Bulan ramahan adalah bulan bonus yang berlipat ganda akan pahala. Ramadan adalah bulan yang tepat untuk membiasakan diri beribadah. Untuk itu, tidak salah jika Allah memberikan pahala yang dilipatgandakan. Ditambah lagi dengan aktiviti puasa ramadan, tentu menjadi suatu proses melatih kesabaran.
Di bulan ini, tentu waktu yang tepat untuk membiasakan diri beribadah dengan bersungguh-sungguh.

“Setiap amalan kebaikan yang dilakukan oleh manusia akan dilipatgandakan dengan sepuluh kebaikan yang semisal hingga tujuh ratus kali lipat. Allah Ta’ala berfirman (yang artinya), “Kecuali amalan puasa. Amalan puasa tersebut adalah untuk-Ku. Aku sendiri yang akan membalasnya. Disebabkan dia telah meninggalkan syahwat dan makanan karena-Ku. Bagi orang yang berpuasa akan mendapatkan dua kebahagiaan yaitu kebahagiaan ketika dia berbuka dan kebahagiaan ketika berjumpa dengan Rabbnya. Sungguh bau mulut orang yang berpuasa lebih harum di sisi Allah daripada bau minyak kasturi” (HR. Muslim)

2. Duhai anak. Ramadan terdapat malam Lailatul Qadar

Malam lailatul qadar adalah malam saat diturunkannya Al-Quran. Untuk itu, keutamaan ini berada di bulan Ramadan. Malam lailatul qadar adalah malam yang dimuliakan Allah dan beribadah di dalamnya seperti 1000 tahun beribadah. Al Quran di bulan ini adalah memiliki sejarah turunnya dan manusia diberikan cahaya kehidupan atas petunjuk Al-Quran yang diturunkan.

Ini disebutkan di dalam Al-Quran,
“Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkannya (Al Quran) pada malam kemuliaan. Dan tahukah kamu apakah malam kemuliaan itu? Malam kemuliaan itu lebih baik dari seribu bulan. Pada malam itu turun malaikat-malaikat dan malaikat Jibril dengan izin Tuhannya untuk mengatur segala urusan. Malam itu (penuh) kesejahteraan sampai terbit fajar. “ (QS Al Qadar 1-5)

Di Ayat lain, disampaikan pula mengenai malam turunnya Al-Quran. “Sesungguhnya Kami menurunkannya (Al-Quran) pada suatu malam, dan sesungguhnya Kamilah yang memberi peringatan. Pada malam itu dijelaskan semua urusan yang penuh hikmah, iaitu urusan yang besar di sisi Kami” (QS Ad-Dhukhan : 3-5)

3. Duhai anak, Ramadan melatih kita untuk memperbanyakkan sedekah

Di dalam bulan ini juga kita digalakkan untuk memperbanyakkan sedekah samada berbentuk wang ringgit atau apa sahaja sedekah yang boleh kita berikan. Yang paling banyak dipraktikkan di dalam bulan Ramadan adalah memberi makan kepada orang yang berbuka puasa.

Terdapat banyak dalil yang menunjukkan kelebihan menjamu mereka yang berpuasa. Justeru, amat wajar bagi yang berkelapangan rezeki serta harta menjamu mereka yang berpuasa. Antara nas galakannya ialah:
Daripada Zaid bin Khalid, bahawasanya Rasulullah SAW bersabda:
Maksudnya: “Siapa yang member makan orang yang berpuasa maka baginya pahala seumpamanya tanpa sedikitpun kurang pahala orang berpuasa.”
(Riwayat Ahmad, al-Tarmizi dan al-Baihaqi)

Daripada Ummu Ammarah, Rasulullah SAW bersabda:
Maksudnya: “Sesungguhnya orang yang berpuasa apabila makan bersamanya orang berpuasa yang lain, maka sentiasalah para malaikat mengucap selawat ke atasnya sehingga selesai daripada makannya.”
(Riwayat Ahmad, al-Tarmizi dan al-Baihaqi)

Rasulullah SAW bersabda
Maksudnya: “Orang yang berpuasa apabila makan di sisinya orang-orang yang berbuka puasa, nescaya para malaikat berselawat ke atasnya.”
(Riwayat al-Tarmizi dan Ibn Majah)

Inilah di antara hikmah yang telah kita dapati dari bulan Ramadan, Sungguh indah Ramadan namun ia bakal pergi meninggalkan kita. Semoga kita bertemu di Ramadan yang akan datang. InshaAllah. Semoga kita terus bercerita tentang kemuliaan dan kehebatan Ramadan kepada anak-anak agar mereka juga sentiasa merindui Ramadan.
