Genius Aulad Secures Prestigious KPT Research Grant to Spearhead Digital Literacy for Preschoolers
Genius Aulad, Malaysia’s leading preschool provider, achieved a significant milestone today at the Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur after being selected as a recipient of a high-profile research grant under the Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
In a strategic partnership with Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), the Genius Aulad-UPSI collaboration emerged as the sole representative from the education industry to be named among the final 10 grant recipients.

Strengthening Research and Development
Officiating the event, Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir emphasized the government’s commitment to advancing the nation’s educational standards through robust research. “MOHE is dedicated to fostering high-impact collaborations that enhance Research and Development (R&D) within the early childhood education sector. Partnerships like the one between UPSI and Genius Aulad are essential in integrating academic expertise with industry experience to build a world-class foundation for our nation’s future generations,” he stated.

A Strategic Leap for the Early Childhood Industry
The initiative was driven by a critical need for innovative, tech-based learning resources for children that align with modern pedagogical requirements. “This achievement is a testament to Genius Aulad’s commitment to staying ahead of educational trends and addressing the real-world needs of Malaysian families,” said Pn Zaliza Alias, Founder of Genius Aulad. “The PPRN conference provides early childhood education players a unique opportunity to collaborate with higher education institutions. We are grateful for this partnership with UPSI, which will deliver a significant impact to the early childhood education industry as a whole.”

Digital Transformation and Student Engagement
Prof. Madya Dr. Mazlina binti Che Mustafa, Director of the National Child Development Research Centre (NCDRC) at UPSI, described the collaboration as a transformative step. “We are thrilled that this collaboration has been realized through the MOHE grant. We are looking at a digital transformation that focuses on the interactive engagement necessary to enhance early childhood education through data-driven research.”
The collaboration marks a new chapter for Genius Aulad as it continues to set the benchmark for preschool excellence in Malaysia through innovation and academic rigour.
