First We Need Love – Special Ramadhan Charity Drive

When we speak of Ramadhan to our little ones, we tell them of how beautiful it is. We tell them, “Out of all the twelve months in a whole year, Ramadhan is the most special month of them all!” It is a month where we bring our hearts closer not only to Allah S.W.T., but to our community as well. It is the best time to instil good values such as patience and kindness in our children, just by showing how it is done.

Dynamics in Charity

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Every Muslim has to give in charity.” The people then asked: “(But what) if someone has nothing to give, what should he do?” The Prophet replied: “He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns).” The people further asked: “If he cannot find even that?” He replied: “He should help the needy who appeal for help.” Then the people asked: “If he cannot do (even) that?” The Prophet said finally: “Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds, and that will be regarded as charitable deeds.” – Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 524

We Love and We Care

It is with that in mind that our Genius Aulad teachers across Malaysia have decided to come together to help out various organisations and individuals in this blessed month through a special Ramadhan Charity Drive called “First We Need Love”. We reached out to these organisations and individuals to find out what they needed the most and provided the opportunity for our community (be it teachers, parents or simply anyone who wants to chip in!) to contribute at several of our Genius Aulad Centres.

Delivering Our Love

Alhamdullilah, the turnout is fantastic so far! It is lovely and heart-warming to see so many people contributing and helping out. On the 2nd of June, our first team distributed the items with the help of our brothers from the Network & Facility Department. The other team is still actively receiving donations from the public and will be distributing the items on the 9th of June. If you would like to be a part of their First We Need Love, do reach out to them! Here’s what they need:
  1. Genius Aulad Kelana Jaya is collecting Raya cookies, instant nasi impit, instant lemang and cordial for Rumah Kasih, Taman Medan.
  2. Genius Aulad Putrajaya Presint 15 andGenius Aulad Putrajaya Presint 8 are collecting rice for Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Gombak Setia.
  3. Genius Aulad Setia Alam is collecting food packets that consist of biscuits, cereal, mineral water and 3-in-1 milo for the homeless in Warong Furqan.
  4. Genius Aulad Cyberjaya is collecting Raya cookies, instant nasi impit and instant lemang for the Asnaf Orphanage.
If you are reading this before their distribution date, in shaa Allah you may still chip in. Just reach out to the one nearest to you, and we would be glad to assist you!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t, I am Suhailah Suhami, mother of Ahmad Dzulfiqry Arif, a student at GENIUS AULAD Traders Square. I chose GENIUS AULAD because of its spacious and comfortable learning environment for children. It was important for me to find a place where he could learn and grow comfortably.

Since my son started attending GENIUS AULAD, I’ve noticed significant improvements in his academic skills. He can now count, knows the alphabet, and can even do simple math additions. These developments are a testament to the effective teaching methods established at GENIUS AULAD. His favorite program is Arabic Funworks. He finds joy in learning the Arabic letters and is excited to expand his knowledge in this area.

His favorite aspects of GENIUS AULAD are the presence of good teachers who make learning enjoyable and the opportunity to make friends. These positive relationships contribute to his overall learning experience and make him look forward to going to school every day.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t, I am Nurul Azreen, the mother of Saif Qaiser, a student at GENIUS AULAD The Prime Puchong.

I chose GENIUS AULAD primarily because of its emphasis on Islamic learning. As a mother, I wanted my child to receive a holistic education that not only focuses on academic excellence but also nurtures his Islamic identity and values.

Since enrolling at GENIUS AULAD, I’ve noticed significant improvements in his Solat Practice and his ability to recite short Duas. These are fundamental aspects of his Islamic upbringing, and I am pleased to see him developing a stronger connection through his education at GENIUS AULAD.

My son particularly enjoys engaging in Science & Crafts and Little Qari & Starter Words Program. These programs allow him to express his creativity and imagination while also developing important skills such as fine motor skills and literacy.
